3.6.2.4” Is the title of the debut album from Ghosts Of Atlantis

Ghosts Of Atlantis or "GOA" is a brand new project featuring Colin Parks of the Dark Gothic Metal band Devilment.

Recorded and produced at Colin's own "Devilhead Studio" in Suffolk, Ghosts Of Atlantis incorporates a blend of many different genres.

The bands sound is an epic Journey for the listener, full of beautiful melodies, backed up by a crushing assault with emotive lyrics.

Building the lore around the mythology of ancient Greece and Atlantis, GOA delivers it's own story, a story weaving both historic findings and fantasy storytelling

The lore is carefully crafted to contain relevance to both this world and the mythological world of Atlantis.

Many have enquired as to the reasoning ofthe name 3.6.2.4?

There is an incredibly good reason why the album is called 3.6.2.4, however, the band would like the listeners to try and work out the relevance.

The album begins with the track "The Third Pillar" This first track ties in with the band’s Three Pillar logo, and sets the tone.

The logo depicts the three pillars, Pillars that signify the start of a pilgrimage to worship before these colossal monuments.

The next track is "Halls Of Lemuria" , Situated in Lemuria are the great halls.

Inside these halls the five Ghosts Of Atlantis lay in hibernation.

The Atlantian people seek to awaken these echoes, or ghosts known in legend to have travelled the realms of the universe.

A battle between the civilizations of Atlantis and Lemuria begins, with the Lemurians wanting to Safeguard the great halls and what lies within the walls thereof.

The third track "False Prophet" shows the manipulation of the people, whilst advanced in technology, and residing in a land rich of minerals, the people are a simple race.

Religion, magic, and misinformation run rampant in the minds of those who would be easily led, and controlled.

This song speaks of a prophet false, a speaker and self proclaimed leader of science and research. A character that is full of hate with an agenda benefitting only himself.

A tale of an individual twisting truths and hearsay, to create a cult of would be followers intent on division and chaos.

"The Curse Of Man" describes the anger shown by Zeus at the division in society. Despite being given everything, the people became greedy, leading to punishment from the gods. Zeus begins laying waste to the cities that stand before him. Those that would choose peace seek refuge towards the pillars, whilst those that stand with the Prophet prepare for war.

Rather than continue this story arc, the next two tracks divert attention away from the aforementioned stories and redirect our tale to "Poseidons Bow" and "When Tridents Fail"

Whilst not strictly a part 1 and 2, these two tracks are both destined to a fate that would become legend.

"Poseidons Bow" Depicts the tale of the mighty trident of Poseidon being shattered, and the birth of a new weapon. A weapon crafted on the back of slaves, a weapon that would stand as tall as the mountains themselves. a weapon fit to fight a god!

"When Tridents Fail" tells of a great battle, and speaks of when the trident was shattered by Zeus. Out of the ashes of the dead and destruction, Poseidons bow is created. This continues the story of the war and division between the society and gods.

The next chapter focuses on the "Gardens Of Athena" a place where the souls of the fallen are embraced by the Ghosts Of Atlantis, and given safe path to Elysium.

To reach peace, all must enter the gardens of Athena, the journey to the Gardens is brutal, this is a part of the land that can have many different seasons in but one day. It is here that the elders lay the bodies on the river for Athena to decide if they have earned the right to ascend to Elysium.

The final part of the story is "The Lost Compass" , This tale tells of those that survived the war and the great tides. They travel together to seek peace, and to rebuild the civilization of Atlantis. By leaving the blasphemous hate and finding unity in the guidance of the stars, the people of Atlantis look to rebuild their civilization and live in peace, yet on this journey the gods, still unhappy with man attempt to crush and destroy all hope.

Following the Lost Compass handed down by the elders at the Gardens OF Athena, many ships will not make this journey, only the most determined, and hell bent on thier destiny will make it to the land afar.
